My Mama'S Enchiladas
- 1 1/2 lb. lean hamburger
- 1 big can (19 oz.) Gebhardt chili (no beans)
- 24 El Rey brand corn tortillas
- 1/2 moon Kraft Longhorn mild cheese
- Comino mix spices (already smashed)
- 1 can enchilada sauce (Gebhardt, 10 oz.)
- onion, if preferred
- Grate cheese and chop onion.
- Steam meat with a little bit of grease.
- Remove excess fat.
- Add spices.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Add chili.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Fry corn tortillas in hot oil until soft.
- Lay aside.
- Fill tortillas with preferred amount of meat, cheese and onion.
- Fold snugly and place in pan.
- Do all tortillas until pan is filled.
- Heat enchilada sauce and pour over enchiladas in pan.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over enchiladas until they are completely covered.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
