Future Farmer All-Bran Bread

  1. Heat 1 cup water to boiling point in large pan.
  2. Add shortening, 2/3 cup sugar, cereal and salt.
  3. In a small bowl add yeast to lukewarm water with sugar.
  4. When first mixture has cooled to lukewarm add the yeast mixture to it.
  5. Add eggs.
  6. Stir well. Add flour and cover pan to rise to double in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours.
  7. Punch down and make into rolls or loaves of bread.
  8. Let rise again.
  9. Bake rolls at 375u0b0 for 15 minutes.
  10. Bake loaves at 325u0b0 for 45 minutes.
  11. This is a sticky dough.
  12. You may need to add flour when making into rolls.
