Butterscotch Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a medium bowl, use a fork to stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and cream of tartar.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture. Add the butterscotch chips. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool on the pans for several minutes before transferring. Inhale the wonderful aroma of butterscotch. Enjoy!
