Yogurt Biscuits
- 2 cups Oat Flour Plus More As Needed And For Flouring Your Work Surface
- 2 teaspoons Splenda
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Nonfat Plain Yogurt
- 1/4 cups Milk
- Preheat the oven to 425 F. Take a cookie sheet, line it with tin foil and spray the foil with nonstick spray.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the dry ingredients (flour through salt on the above list). Using a wooden spoon, add the yogurt and stir together well. Add the milk, only as you need it until the dough comes together. (I used less than 1/4 cup, but you may need that much or more).
- Transfer dough to a floured surface. The dough will be sticky, so add enough flour to enable you to roll it to 1-inch thickness. Once you have flattened the dough, cut it into 3" rounds using a glass or biscuit cutter. Place the pieces on the cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Serve warm with butter, honey or jam-and don't forget the coffee!
