Those Little Pecan Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
  2. Put your room temperature butter into a mixing bowl. Add both white and brown sugar and mix. Add your egg, mix, then add flour and salt. Mix all together well. You may use your hands. If your dough is a little too runny, add a little more flour.
  3. Drop quarter sized scoops of dough onto a cookie sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Then simply press one pecan half on top of each cookie. Bake at 375u0b0F for 10 minutes. Remove pan from oven and set it on a rack to allow cookies to cool for 2-3 minutes. Then remove cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.
