Apple Cranberry Pie
- Your Favorite Pie Crust
- Filling
- 2-1/4 pounds Granny Smith Apples, Peeled And Thinly Sliced
- 1 package Dried Cranberries, Orange Flavored (plain Works Ok Too)
- 2/3 cups Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- Cinnamon, Ground Cloves, Nutmeg To Taste (or A Good Allspice)
- 2 Tablespoons Cointreau (any Orange Flavored Spirits Will Do)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Topping
- 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cups Uncooked Oats
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon, Ground Cloves, Nutmeg To Taste (or A Good Allspice)
- 6 Tablespoons Butter
- Filling -
- Combine all filling ingredients, and let the mixture sit in the refrigerator overnight. Shake it up every once in awhile.
- Topping -
- Mix dry ingredients together. Cut the butter in to make crumbs.
- Putting it together -
- Put apple mixture in the pie crust, spread the crumbs over the top. Bake for about an hour at 375.
