White Chocolate Cherry Scones
- 3 cups Flour
- 1/2 cups Sugar, Plus Extra To Sprinkle On Top Of Scones
- 2-1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 6 Tablespoons Butter
- 6 ounces, weight Vanilla Yogurt
- 1/3 cups Milk, Plus Extra To Brush On Top Of Scones
- 1 cup Dried Cherries Or Craisins
- 1/2 cups White Chocolate Chips
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and soda in a large bowl. Cut in butter till mixture is crumbly. Combine yogurt and milk and stir in with cherries and chocolate chips. Don't over-mix.
- Pat dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2" think and cut into wedges, circles, or hearts for Valentine's Day! Place on greased cookie sheets. Brush tops with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375F for about 18-20 minutes.
- Serves 6-8.
