Pizza Pasta
- 4 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or salt
- 1 pkg. Lawry's spaghetti sauce, spices and seasonings
- 1 3/4 c. water
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. salad oil
- 10 oz. mostaccioli, cooked and drained
- 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- In large skillet, brown pepperoni; drain.
- Add green pepper, onion, mushrooms, olives and garlic; saute.
- Add spaghetti sauce, water, tomato paste and oil; blend well.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
- Add cooked mostaccioli; blend well.
- Pour in 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole; top with cheese. Bake at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Makes 6 servings.
