Easy Chocolate Brownie Pie
- 1 whole Pie Crust, Unbaked
- 1/2 cups Butter, Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Cocoa
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cups Flour
- 2 Eggs, Well Beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 cup Nuts Of Choice (optional, But Recommended)
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0F.
- Place pie shell in pie pan, pierce with a fork. (If using a frozen crust, let thaw first then pierce with a fork). Set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add cocoa, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Mixture will be thick and grainy.
- Add flour, well-beaten eggs, and vanilla. Stir in nuts.
- Spread mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes or until top forms thin crust and sides are firm. Remove from oven. Let set.
- Serve warm or cold. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
