Easy Chocolate Brownie Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0F.
  2. Place pie shell in pie pan, pierce with a fork. (If using a frozen crust, let thaw first then pierce with a fork). Set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add cocoa, stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Mixture will be thick and grainy.
  4. Add flour, well-beaten eggs, and vanilla. Stir in nuts.
  5. Spread mixture into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes or until top forms thin crust and sides are firm. Remove from oven. Let set.
  6. Serve warm or cold. Top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
