Overnight Breakfast Casserole
- 1 pound Ground Sausage
- 12 whole Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 8 slices Bread
- 1/4 cups Butter Or Butter Spray
- 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Fry and crumble sausage in a pan. Set aside.
- Beat together the eggs and milk until incorporated. Mix in dry mustard and set aside.
- Line a 9x13 cake pan with bread that has been buttered on both sides with the crust removed.
- Pour meat over the top of the bread and season with salt and pepper if desired.
- Top meat with cheddar cheese. Pour egg and milk mixture into the pan.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Note: bacon can be substituted in, as well as veggies if desired. Dry mustard can be found in the spice aisle.
