Abc Muffins
- 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/3 cups Ground Flax Seed
- 1/3 cups Wheat Germ
- 1/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Liquid Egg Substitute (or 2 Eggs)
- 1/2 sticks Butter, Melted And Cooled
- 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
- 1/2 cups Cooked Bacon, Chopped
- 1 whole Large Granny Smith Apple, Peeled And Diced
- 1/2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Diced
- Maple Syrup For Serving
- Combine flour, flax seed, wheat germ, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside.
- Combine the egg, butter, liquid smoke, bacon, apple, and cheese in a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Slowly add the first set (dry) ingredients to the second set of ingredients.
- Pour into 6 greased large muffin pans, cooked for 20-25 minutes at 350, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Serve with maple syrup.
