Blender Ketchup

  1. Quarter tomatoes; remove stem ends.
  2. Cut peppers into strips and quarter onions. Put in blender, filling until 3/4 full.
  3. Blend at high speed for 4 seconds. Pour into large kettle and add vinegar, sugar, salt, dry mustard, red pepper and spices tied in thin cloth.
  4. Simmer in slow oven at 325u0b0 until volume is reduced to 1/2.
  5. Remove spices.
  6. Pour in hot jars.
  7. Process 10 minutes. Makes 5 pints.
