Simple Pasta Salad
- 1 package Pasta - I Like To Use Tri-colored Rotini
- 1-1/2 cup Broccoli Florets, Small
- 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans, Rinsed And Drained
- 1 cup Carrots, Shredded
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cups Italian Salad Dressing
- Nature's Seasons, To Taste
- Cook pasta according to directions on package. Rinse in colander under cold water until pasta is cooled.
- While pasta is cooking, cut broccoli into small florets. I've used the broccoli raw, and I've also blanched it in boiling salted water for three minutes. Both are very good, but I prefer the blanched version.
- Rinse and drain beans in colander.
- Shred carrots.
- Combine the pasta, broccoli, beans and shredded carrot in a large bowl. Add mayonnaise, Italian Dressing and Nature's Seasons (a seasoning blend by Morton). Mix well and chill.
- You can add more or less mayo to suit your preference. I've also used kidney beans, great northern beans - all good.
