Chicken A La King
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 8 oz. mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 small green bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 c. cubed cooked chicken
- 3 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. corn starch
- 1/2 c. sliced pimientos
- 8oz. pkg. cooked and drained wide egg noodles
- In a large skillet melt margarine over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms, bell pepper and onion;
- saute 3 minutes.
- Add chicken, sherry, bouillon, salt and pepper.
- Stir milk and corn starch until smooth;
- add to skillet.
- Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil one minute.
- Stir in pimientos.
- Serve over egg noodles.
