Chocolate Oat-Chip Cookies
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. oats
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- Add flour, soda and salt, mix well.
- Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts.
- Mix well.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies, 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack.
- Makes about 5 dozen.
