Chocolate Mice

  1. 1. Melt the chocolate (in the microwave, 30 second bursts stirring in between to make sure it doesn't scorch). When chocolate is melted, combine with sour cream. Stir in 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  2. 2. Roll by level tablespoonfuls into balls. Mold to a slight point at one end to shape the nose.
  3. 3. Roll dough in confectioner's sugar (for white mice) or in chocolate cookies crumbs (for dark mice). On each mouse, place dragees or black sugar balls on each side of nose; press in to make eyes. Place 2 almond slices on each side of head and push into head for ears. Add a licorice string for the tails.
  4. 4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
