Oriental Chicken Buns

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Combine sugar, ginger, garlic and soy sauce in a medium skillet.
  3. Cook to boiling.
  4. Add chicken.
  5. Cook 3 to 4 minutes until chicken becomes opaque.
  6. Remove from heat. Remove chicken from ginger liquid.
  7. Combine cornstarch and water. Stir into the ginger liquid.
  8. Return to heat and heat to boiling, stirring continuously.
  9. Cook until clear and thickened.
  10. Stir in chicken, chestnuts and onion.
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Cool 10 minutes.
