The Best Strawberry Cake!
- 1 box White Cake Mix (18.25 Ounce Box)
- 1 box Strawberry Flavored Instant Gelatin (3 Ounce Box)
- 1 package Frozen Strawberries In Syrup (10 Ounce), Thawed & Pureed
- 4 whole Eggs (large)
- 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cups Water
- 1. Preheat oven to 350.
- 2. Lightly grease 2 round 9-inch cake pans.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix and gelatin. Add pureed strawberries, eggs, oil, and water; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
- 4. Pour into prepared pans, and bake for 20 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- 5. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes.
- 6. Remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks.
- 7. Spread Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting (I entered this in a separate recipe) in between the layers and on top and sides of cake.
- 8. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired.
