The Best Snickerdoodles

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream cane sugar and butter. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Blend dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  3. In small bowl, prepare the cinnamon sugar by combining the ane sugar and cinnamon. Mix.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in cinnamon mixture. Put 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 370u0b0F.
