Easy Noodle Casserole
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can Contadina Crushed tomatoes in puree
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves crushed
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 c. thin sliced zucchini
- 4 oz. dry wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- In large skillet, brown meat with onion and garlic.
- Drain well.
- Mix in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
- Mix in zucchini and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Blend in noodles.
- In a 12 x 7 inch baking dish layer 1/2 of meat and 1/2 of cheese.
- Repeat another layer.
- Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.
