Petit Fours (Cookies With Jam)
- 250 grams Butter
- 200 grams Icing Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Powder
- Orange Or Lime Zest
- 350 grams All-purpose Flour
- 125 grams Dark Chocolate, For Garnish
- Marmalade Or Praline, As Needed, For Filling
- Beat butter and icing sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one. Add vanilla and zest, mix. Add flour and mix. The mixture will be very creamy.
- Place parchment paper on a baking pan. Fill a pastry bag using the star tip and form cookies in the shape you want. Just make sure they are the same size.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Place in a plate to cool down.
- In the meantime, in a bain marie, melt the chocolate and keep it warm.
- Take two cookies and make a sandwich with marmalade or praline inside. Dip only half of it in the melted chocolate and place it in parchment paper to cool down. Enjoy!
