Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. Melt butter in microwave in 10-second increments until fully dissolved.
  2. Combine flour, cornstarch, and baking soda in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk to combine; set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugars for 2 minutes until fully incorporated. Add eggs one at a time and mix until just combined. Add vanilla. Gradually fold in flour mixutre, roughly 1 cup at a time, until dough is slightly tacky.
  4. Add chips and bacon and mix with a wooden spoon until combined. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 350u0b0F. Bake cookies on lined baking sheet for 8-9 minutes, or until barely golden grown. Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
