Pork Chop And Vegetable Skillet
- 4 pork chops
- 2 medium onions, cut into rings
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 small green pepper, stripped
- Trim fat from chops.
- In a 12-inch skillet, cook chops over medium-high heat in hot oil, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Remove chops.
- Add onions to skillet; cook until tender.
- Drain fat, if necessary.
- Add undrained tomatoes, water, paprika, garlic salt and caraway seed.
- Return chops to skillet.
- Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- Add potatoes and green pepper. Cover.
- Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until pork and potatoes are tender.
- Serve immediately.
