Tacos
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 oz. pkg. taco shells or 12 tortillas
- 2 c. shredded lettuce
- taco sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 c. shredded American or Cheddar cheese
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- Heat oven to 250u0b0.
- In medium skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain excess fat.
- Stir in chili powder, salt, garlic powder and tomato sauce.
- Simmer, covered, 10 minutes.
- Heat taco shells in oven at 250u0b0 for 5 minutes.
- Assemble tacos by layering meat, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes in each shell.
- Serve with taco sauce; top with sour cream.
- Makes 10 tacos.
