Cocoa Kiss Cookies
- 1 c. butter or oleo, softened
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 c. finely chopped pecans
- 1 pkg. (9 oz.) Hershey's milk chocolate Kisses (about 54)
- confectioners sugar
- Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl.
- Combine flour and cocoa.
- Blend into creamed mixture.
- Add pecans.
- Beat on low speed until well blended.
- Chill dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle.
- Meanwhile unwrap Kisses.
- Shape scant tablespoon of dough around Kiss, covering Kiss completely.
- Shape into balls.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
- Cool slightly.
- Remove to wire rack.
- Cool completely.
- Roll in confectioners sugar.
- Roll in sugar again before serving, if desired.
- Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
