Mini Hamburger Cookies
- 1 box Nilla Wafers
- 1 box Thin Mint Cookies Or Keebler Grasshopper Cookies
- 1/4 cups Sweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 3 Tablespoons Water
- 1 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 2 drops Green Food Coloring
- 1 tub Frosting (vanilla)
- 1. Stir honey and water until dissolved.
- 2. Mix coconut with green food coloring until coconut looks green like shredded lettuce.
- 3. Lay out Nilla wafers and place a small dab of frosting on the flat part and then stick a Grasshopper cookie on top. The first Nilla wafer is the bottom bun. The Grasshopper is the burger.
- 4. Next spread some frosting on the Grasshopper cookie and sprinkle some coconut on top to look like lettuce.
- 4. Next place the second Nilla wafer on top as the top "bun."
- 5. Using a pastry brush, brush the top of the Nilla wafer with some honey water then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Keep doing this until you run out of Nilla Wafers. Enjoy your mini burger cookies! They always are a big hit at parties and barbecues because they look so cute, especially with the little sesame seeds on top!
