Szechwan Broccoli
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 teaspoons Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Fresh Ginger, Minced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 5 cups Broccoli, Chopped
- Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar and sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add sesame seeds; cook (toast) for one minute or until brown. Take off heat, and put in a bowl. Set aside.
- Add oil to the frying pan. Stir-fry crushed red pepper, ginger and garlic for 30 seconds. Add broccoli. Stir-fry one minute. Add soy sauce mixture. Stir well.
- Cover and cook for two minutes or until broccoli is tender-crisp. Take off heat.
- Put in a serving bowl. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, and lightly stir to mix in the seeds.
