Kolacky(Polish Pastry)

  1. Knead and work with pastry blender the flour, baking powder, sugar and butter.
  2. Add eggs; blend.
  3. Add sour cream; blend.
  4. Dough is sticky, so cool in refrigerator.
  5. Roll dough out very thin over confectioners sugar (also can coat rolling pin with pastry sleeve in confectioners sugar; never use flour).
  6. Cut out dough into triangles.
  7. Spread a little of the filling over the triangles and roll them up.
  8. The filling must be thick, or it will run.
  9. Put rolls on ungreased cookie sheet (Teflon).
  10. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 15 minutes, or until light tan on bottom.
  11. Powder sugar them when cool or right before eating.
  12. (Just roll or toss them in powdered sugar.)
