Garlic Bubble Loaf
- 1-1/2 teaspoon SAF Bread Machine Yeast
- 3 cups All-purpose Flour
- 3 Tablespoons Organic Sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Garlic Oil
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- 3/4 cups Warm Water
- 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil
- In the bread pan of a bread machine, place yeast in the bottom. Top with all the dry ingredients.
- In a small measuring cup, measure out the sour cream, and add the warm water. Make sure the water is between 100 and 115 degrees-any hotter and the yeast will die.
- Pour into the bread pan, and top with the garlic oil.
- Set to dough cycle. Start machine.
- While waiting for the dough to be ready, place garlic in a bowl and cover with olive oil. Let sit and set aside.
- When dough is ready, place on a floured work surface. Cut in half and then cut the half into 8 pieces each.
- Roll each piece out into a small circle. Place 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic in the middle and then roll up into a ball. Roll to seal the edges.
- Brush a bundt pan with garlic oil. Place each ball of dough into the pan, piling the balls on top of each other.
- When all the dough balls are filled and placed in the pan, drizzle remaining oil and garlic over the top.
- Preheat oven at 375 degrees while you are filling the balls and placing them in the pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1/2 hour until loaf is browned.
- Remove from oven. Let sit for 10 minutes and then carefully remove bread from pan and place on a wire rack to cool slightly, until you can handle it without burning yourself.
- Serve with a big bowl of pasta with marinara sauce!
