Mini Cinnamon Apple Pecan Tarts
- 2 whole Refrigerated Pie Crust Sheets
- 2 cups Canned Apple Pie Filling
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 cups Pecan Halves
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F. Spray a mini muffin tin or prepare a nonstick pan.
- Dust your work surface with flour and lay out one pie crust sheet. Cut into 3-inch wide strips down the length of the sheet, then cut into squares. You should have 12 squares of dough. Roll each square into a ball and place inside a well of the prepared mini muffin tin. Use the round end of a wooden spoon to create a small round well in the middle of the dough for the apple pie filling. (You can use your fingers too; the spoon works more quickly.) Set aside. Repeat with remaining dough.
- In a bowl, add apple pie filling, cinnamon, and stir well. Fill all the wells until full. Add several pecan halves to the top of each tart.
- Place into the oven on the middle rack and bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to rest before removing to cool. Store in an airtight container.
- These are simple to make and very delicious. Enjoy!
