Grandma’S Fresh Apple Custard Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Bake pie crust for 15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, beat sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, juice concentrate, egg, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth. Pour into the prepared crust and bake for 30 minutes or until set. Cool.
  4. In a large skillet, cook apples in butter until tender but crisp. Arrange on top of the pie.
  5. To make the glaze, in a small saucepan, combine frozen apple concentrate (thawed), cornstarch, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix well over low heat. Cook and stir until thickened.
  6. Drizzle pie with apple cinnamon glaze. Serve warm or chilled.
