Quick And Easy Two Bean Chili
- 1 pound Ground Turkey (I Used Turkey Breast, But You Can Use Regular Ground Turkey, Ground Chicken Or Lean Ground Beef)
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced (up To 3 Cloves, To Taste)
- 2 whole Jalapenos Seeded And Minced
- 2 cans (14 1/2 Oz. Each) Stewed Tomatoes, Undrained
- 1 can (15-16 Oz.) Red Kidney Beans, Drained And Rinsed
- 1 can (15-16 Oz.) Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed
- 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder, Or To Taste
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin, Or To Taste
- 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons (Heaping) Tomato Paste
- In a Dutch oven, cook ground turkey, onion, garlic and jalapeno until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain fat.
- Stir in undrained tomatoes, drained kidney beans, drained black beans, chili powder, cumin, cayenne and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Stir in tomato paste; cook uncovered for 5-10 minutes more or to desired thickness. Serves 4-6.
