Sugar Plums

  1. 1. Put all of the ingredients in a food processor.
  2. 2. Pulse until it's minced evenly.
  3. 3. Add orange juice as needed to bind everything together.
  4. 4. Roll into 1" balls and roll in sugar.
  5. 5. Set out to dry for a bit, about an hour or so.
  6. Note: I suggest making a small batch first and then adjusting your ingredients to taste. Sugar Plums, I would say, don't taste like any other common dessert, and this is a very traditional recipe. Try adding in a third type of nut, or switching the apples for something like dried pears if you are looking to adjust the flavor.
