- 2 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onions
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. chopped stuffed olives
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 lb. broad noodles
- 2 c. grated American cheese
- Saute peppers, celery, onions and ground meat and pork in butter; season, then reduce heat.
- Cook for 5 minutes.
- Drain. Add olives, mushrooms, soup and sauce; cook 5 minutes longer. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- Gently add noodles to meat mixture.
- Place into small or one large casserole dish.
- Top with cheese and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
