Strawberry Lemonade
- 1 cup Water
- 3/4 cups White Sugar
- 3 cups Strawberries, Hulled
- 1/2 cups Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 4 cups Still Or Sparkling Water
- Ice Cubes (optional)
- Place water and sugar into a medium-sized saucepan over a medium heat and heat until sugar has dissolved and mixture is simmering around the edges. Stir it occasionally. Once done, set aside to cool slightly.
- Place strawberries into a food processor and blitz until smooth. Place a sieve over a large jug and pass the pureed strawberries through the sieve to ensure there are no pips in your lemonade.
- Add lemon juice and still/sparkling water into your strawberry mix and stir briefly, then add your simple syrup, stirring until everything is combined.
- Transfer to a pitcher/carafe if desired and place in the fridge until chilled through, 2 hours. If not refrigerating, you can serve with ice cubes.
- Lemonade is best served chilled, with a slice of lemon and a fresh strawberry.
