Dark Fudge Brownies
- 1/2 cups Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Plus 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 cups Plus 2 Tablespoons Dutch Processed Cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/2 cups Coffee Liqueur (or Strong Cold Coffee)
- 3/4 cups Flour
- 1 cup Baking Chips Or Nuts (optional)
- 1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- 2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- 3. Add sugar and whisk mixture until shiny.
- 4. Remove from heat, add cocoa, salt, baking powder, vanilla, egg and liqueur.
- 5. Stir in flour.
- 6. Fold in any chips or nuts.
- 7. Pour batter into a 10x7 or 9x9 baking pan.
- 8. Bake for 23-26 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 1 inch from the side comes out fairly clean.
- 9. Cool completely and cut into squares.
