Peanut Butter And Jelly Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and flour for the crust. Mix until a dough forms. Press down into the baking dish and flatten to cover bottom of pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes then remove it from the oven. Let crust cool completely.
  3. Spread grape preserves on top of cooled crust.
  4. In a large bowl, add flour and sugar for the topping. Add butter pieces. With a pastry cutter or a fork, cut until you have coarse crumbs. Pour topping on top of preserves.
  5. Return to oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until lightly brown.
  6. Microwave peanut butter until smooth. Drizzle over warm bars. Cool before cutting.
