Mom’S Chocolate Walnut Fudge
- 1 bar (large 5 Oz. Bar) Milk Chocolate
- 1 jar (small 7.5 Oz. Jar) Marshmallow Cream
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
- 5 cups White Sugar
- 1 can (12 Oz. Can) Evaporated Milk
- 1-1/2 stick Margarine (It Must Be Margarine, Not Butter Or Oleo)
- 1 cup Coarsely Chopped Walnuts
- In your mixer bowl, break up the candy bar into small pieces and add the marshmallow cream and vanilla. Set aside.
- In a large heavy pan over medium heat, dissolve sugar in milk and melted margarine. Stir constantly until it comes to a full rolling boil. Continue stirring and boiling, lowering heat to keep at a steady boil for 10 minutes.
- Slowly pour into mixer bowl, beating at the lowest speed for a few minutes. When the hot mixture is combined with the marshmallow and chocolate, beat for 4-5 minutes at a higher speed until creamy smooth. Add nuts until mixed. Pour into a 13x9 pan lined with buttered foil. When set, take foil out of the pan and slice into 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 pieces.
