Chocolate Butterscotch Bars

  1. Heat oven to 350F (or 375 degrees for higher altitude). Lightly grease a 13x9" baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry cake mix, dry pudding mix, oil, and eggs. By hand, stir until well blended.
  3. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut, and 1/2 cup nuts. Press mixture in prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. For higher altitude (Utah): bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Let cool in pan.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine glaze ingredients (butterscotch chips, milk, butter). Melt over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  7. Drizzle over warm bars. Sprinkle with reserved nuts.
  8. Makes 36 bars ... or so.
