Strawberry Lemon Spritzer

• FOR THE STRAWBERRY LEMON SIMPLE SYRUP:
• 1-1/2 cup White Sugar
• 1-1/2 cup Water
• 1-1/2 cup Strawberries, Clean And Cut Into Pieces
• 1/2 whole Lemon, Zest, Juice And Rind
• FOR THE STRAWBERRY LEMON SPRITZER:
• 1 cup Ice
• 1-1/2 ounce, fluid Citrus Infused Vodka
• 10 ounces, fluid Soda Water
• 2 Tablespoons Strawberry Lemon Simple Syrup
• Strawberry And Lemon, For Garnish

1. For the strawberry lemon simple syrup:
2. In a medium sauce pan, add the sugar, water and strawberries. Zest the lemon and squeeze the juice into the pan. Toss the remaining lemon rind into the pan as well. Bring to a simmer on medium high heat. Once simmering, reduce to low and let simmer for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, strain into a bowl and shmoosh the strawberries so no liquid remains. Let cool in the fridge.
3. For the strawberry lemon spritzer:
4. Add the ice to a tall glass. Measure the vodka and pour into the glass. Fill the glass almost all the way full with soda water. Pour in the strawberry lemon simple syrup in and stir. Garnish with strawberry and lemon.
