Beef 'N Potato Bake

  1. In
  2. a
  3. shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish combine potatoes, oil and
  4. pepper.
  5. Firmly
  6. press
  7. mixture
  8. across bottom and up sides of dish to form a shell.
  9. Bake, uncovered, at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes. Meanwhile,
  10. in
  11. skillet, brown beef, onion and bouillon; drain. Stir in gravy mix, water and garlic salt; bring to a boil.
  12. Add mixed vegetables; reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes.
  13. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 fried onions; place in shell.
  14. Bake
  15. at 350u0b0 for 15 minutes.
  16. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions; bake 5 minutes longer.
