Chocolate Chip Sprinkle Cookies
- 1 stick Cold Butter
- 2-1/4 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cups Crisco
- 3/4 cups White Sugar
- 3/4 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 whole Eggs At Room Temperature
- 1 bag (12 Oz. Size) Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cups Candy Sprinkles
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare 2 baking sheets by covering each one with parchment paper.
- Cut the cold butter into 1/2" cubes and put it into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 5-6 seconds. Repeat this for approximately 8 heating increments in a row, or until melted.
- In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the melted butter, Crisco, white and brown sugars, and vanilla. Slowly mix in each egg. Beat until smooth.
- Slowly add the flour mixture in with the wet ingredients. Mix together with your hands (you could use a mixer, but the consistency of the cookie will not turn out the same way as these do).
- Mix chocolate chips and sprinkles into the cookie dough with your hands.
- Scoop out 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cookie dough for each cookie. Line each cookie sheet with 3 rows of 4 cookies per row.
- Bake at 350 F for 13 minutes. Remove from oven. Allow your cookies to cool on a cooling rack. Enjoy!
