Chicken And Hot Pepper(Gun Pao Gee Dein)
- 1 lb. chicken meat, cut in 1-inch squares
- 4 to 5 each red whole cayenne peppers, cut in half
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sake or wine
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sake or wine
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- Mix 1
- tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sake or wine, 2 tablespoons
- water,
- 2
- teaspoons cornstarch and chicken meat. Marinate about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Heat frying pan or wok; add 3 tablespoons oil.
- Fry cayenne peppers until fragrant.
- Drain and add chicken meat.
- Cook until meat begins to turn
- white.
- Mix
- remaining ingredients for second sauce. Add
- to chicken
- and
- cook until chicken is done.
- Serve with rice.
