Salty Dark Chocolate Rice Krispies Treats

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, add dark chocolate pieces and clear corn syrup. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir between intervals and continue until melted and smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add Rice Krispies cereal. Add melted chocolate/corn syrup mixture and use a sturdy spatula to mix and combine (it'll be somewhat sticky).
  3. Transfer ingredients into a prepared (I use Bakers Joy spray with flour) 8 x 8 inch dish. Using an offset spatula, spread the mixture evenly. Add salt granules evenly over the top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
  4. Cut into desired size squares and serve. These are scrumptious and a family favorite. Hope you will enjoy!
