Southwestern Egg Pie
- 1 whole Refrigerated Pie Crust
- 12 pieces Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Links
- 1/4 cups Chopped Onion
- 1/4 cups Chopped Green Onions
- 2 whole Jalapenos Seeded And Chopped
- 6 whole Eggs, You Could Also Use Egg Product
- 1 cup Milk Or Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1 cup Mexican Cheese Blend
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F.
- Place crust in ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
- Chop up the sausage. Cook and stir sausage, both onions, and jalapenos over medium heat until tender, then remove from heat.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk, cumin, salt and pepper until blended. Stir in the sausage mixture and cheese. Pour into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the eggs are set.
- I sprinkle the top with extra cheese and serve it with salsa.
