Easy Beef Stew
- 2 to 3 lb. sirloin steak or rump roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 carrots
- 3 celery sticks
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
- 4 large potatoes
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cans cream of celery soup
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. margarine
- Cut meat into cubes.
- Remove all fat.
- Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
- Peel and cut celery, carrots, onions, bell pepper and mushrooms into bite size pieces.
- Place meat and vegetables in a large roasting pan.
- Fold in all soups, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and butter.
- Do not add water.
- Bake in oven at 350u0b0 for 2 to 3 hours, uncovered.
- Cover pot and bake 1 more hour.
- Serves 8 to 10.
