Turkey And Biscuit Casserole
- 1/2 stick butter, cut in pieces
- 2 c. cut up cooked turkey
- 1/2 c. Gold Medal Wondra flour
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 c. julienne strips red bell pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
- 1 c. julienne strips spinach
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Heat butter in 2-quart casserole in oven until melted.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except spinach.
- Bake 20 minutes, stirring once, until sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in spinach.
- Place 1 can biscuits around edge of casserole. Increase oven temperature to 425u0b0.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
