Apple & Cinnamon Bars
- 2 whole Apples
- 2 whole Egg Whites
- 1-7/8 ounces, weight Dark Brown Sugar
- 6-3/8 ounces, weight Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
- 2 ounces, weight Rolled Oats
- 1-1/2 ounces, weight Whole Wheat Flour
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C for 15 minutes.
- 1. Wash and peel 2 large apples.
- 2. Cut up 1 apple, dump into the blender and add 0.5 cup of water. Blend to get apple juice/ puree.
- 3. Dice the other apple. Set aside.
- 4. Add 2 egg whites, and brown sugar. Blend for 1 minute.
- 5. Combine the protein powder, salt, cinnamon powder, oats, and whole wheat flour in a large bowl. Mix well.
- 6. Pour a small quantity of the mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir in thoroughly. Add a little at a time till all of them are incorporated thoroughly.
- 7. Add the diced apple and mix well.
- 8. Pour the mixture into a tray.
- 9. Bake the dish for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
- 10. Cool it, chill, cut and serve!
