Individual Berry Pandowdies

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. In a large bowl, toss berries with 1/4 cup sugar and cornstarch.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add egg, milk and butter; mix until well combined.
  5. Prepare six 8-ounce custard cups with nonstick cooking spray.
  6. Divide berry mixture among the custard cups.
  7. Top each cup with batter.
  8. Sprinkle each with sugar and nutmeg.
  9. Place cups on baking sheet; bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until tops are golden.
  10. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
