Jeanne'S Taco Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 small can green chillie peppers, chopped and drained
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. Bisquick
- 3 eggs
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 c. monterey cheese, shredded
- Lettuce
- Sour cream
- Heat oven to 400u0b0.
- Grease a 10 inch pie plate or square casserole dish.
- Cook beef and onion in skillet until brown; drain.
- Stir in seasoning mix.
- Place in pie plate of dish and sprinkle chillie peppers on top.
- In separate bowl,
- beat milk, eggs, and Bisquick until smooth. Pour over meat. Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomatoes and cheese. Bake until knife comes out clean when inserted, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
- Serve with sour cream, lettuce, extra tomatoes, and cheese if desired.
- Great as leftovers.
